Pro Tip: When replacing this fuel injector, replacement of the fuel injector feed tube is recommended. The fuel tube contains an edge filter inside of the tube which is a last ditch effort to catch any debris before the fuel enters the fuel injector. A new tube will protect against existing debris going through the fuel injector. Additionally, the fuel tube mates directly with the fuel injector. If the surface of the tube has been compromised, it could cause a high pressure fuel leak preventing rail pressure from building and diluting engine oil with diesel fuel
