Before replacing a turbocharger actuator, it is important to identify the initial cause of failure to prevent premature failure of the replacement actuator. Any restricition of the Cummins VGT Sector Gear/Shaft will cause an increased amp load on the actuator and could lead to failure. Before installing the replacement actuator, make sure the gear sweeps freely between both lines on the turbo cartridge
