This injector is fed high pressure fuel via a high pressure fuel tube. If your injector failed due to fuel contamination, replacing your injector without replacing the fuel tubes could cause premature failure from debris in the existing fuel tube entering your replacement injector. Following the case recommended torqueing procedure during common rail injector installation is very important. Failure to follow the correct procedure could result in poor connection between the injector and the fuel tube causing excess fuel in the crankcase and or high fuel return.
